First Grade Sweetie....

Just thought I would share a story told to me by a first grade teacher Tammy F. this week.....

Picture the first grade students this week out on the playground for recess on a cloudy, rainy day, but it is not raining at the moment and there is sometime for a little fresh air.

Peeking out of the clouds comes the sun creating a beautiful rainbow.....

"Wow", "Awe". "Beautiful," etc. exclaim the children….

“Where did the rainbow come from?” asks a child.

Little Zoey exclaims with a very excited and loud voice so all can hear: “Mrs. Hooper brought the rainbow!”

I’ve been teaching the kids songs about weather including a MK8 song called,

“Follow the Rainbow.”

Oh the tender sweetness of children. Made my day!
